Victims, law enforcement, local hospitals, and Planned Parenthood can call
upon Project HELP, Inc. to utilize our Rape Crisis Team.
Once our Rape Crisis Team
is notified, we begin either working with the victim individually or acting as advocates while they work with law enforcement.
Our program allows victims the dignity of a specially reserved, private room at the local Planned Parenthood Office to have
their rape kits performed and questioning done. A Rape Crisis Team member is always present to offer support.
Project HELP, Inc also offers counseling and a rape victim support group
to assist victims after the initial trauma. Our counseling services also extend to family members also affected by the crime.
