Three days towards making a lifetime of difference

All of our volunteers receive over 30 hours of crisis intervention training.

Hotline

Those who choose to volunteer for our 24 hour Crisis and Referral Hotline can choose to provide services during the evenings, weekends and holidays.  We transfer the hotline to your home or cell phone enabling you to integrate volunteering into your everyday life.  The only qualifications you must possess are an open mind and a compassionate heart.

Rape Crisis Team

Rape Crisis Team members also receive 30 hours of specialized crisis intervention and advocacy training.  RCT members act as advocates for victims of rape and sexual abuse.

Sudden Death Notification Team

Specialized training combined with a mentoring program enable volunteers to assit those effected by sudden death with the notification process and viewings at the Medical Examiner's Office

Other Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers to help in the office, with fund raising or to be members of our Board of Directors.
