Project HELP offers the Supporting Those Who Serve: Trauma Recovery & Resilience Program to provide specialized, trauma-informed support for the professionals who dedicate their lives to helping others.
First responders, victim service professionals, healthcare workers, educators, social workers, and other helping professionals are regularly exposed to traumatic events, crisis situations, loss, and human suffering. While they are trained to support others, the emotional impact of this work can build over time.
Repeated exposure to trauma can contribute to:

Anxiety, depression, and emotional exhaustion
Left unaddressed, these experiences can affect personal well-being, job performance, and long-term workforce retention.
Exclusive Services
Supporting Those Who Serve: Trauma Recovery & Resilience Program provides free, trauma-informed counseling, crisis intervention, support groups, education, and referral services for first responders, healthcare professionals, victim advocates, social workers, educators, and other helping professionals impacted by direct victimization, secondary traumatic stress, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, or exposure to critical incidents through their work. The program promotes resilience, emotional wellness, and long-term recovery by providing a safe and supportive environment where those who serve others can access the care, tools, and resources needed to sustain their own well-being and continue serving their communities effectively.
