About Us

WHO WE ARE

Project HELP is a nonprofit providing free, confidential counseling, advocacy, and 24-hour crisis support for those affected by sexual violence, sudden death, and other crimes.

Our team includes licensed therapists, certified advocates, and dedicated volunteers — all committed to offering hope, empowerment, and healing to those in need.

WHAT WE DO

Project HELP is Collier County’s only state-certified Rape Recovery and Victim Service Center. Since 1986, we’ve provided free counseling, advocacy, and crisis support for survivors of sexual violence and sudden loss.

We work closely with the Medical Examiner’s Office, law enforcement, hospitals, and other community partners to ensure victims and families get the help they need.

Our team offers individual, family, couples, and group counseling, as well as court and forensic exam advocacy, victim compensation assistance, and on-site crisis response.

Our Services

Our help is always available, 24 hours every day.  Project HELP provides the following services:

Advocacy

Project HELP provide support and encouragement to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes to ensure their interests are represented, and their rights upheld.

Trauma Counseling

FREE, individual counseling a those affected by sexual abuse & other violent crimes. This can be done by telephone or face-to-face.

24/7 Sexual Assault

Crisis HELPline

Is a confidential and anonymous crisis line answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by a live person to provide immediate response to the needs of the callers.

Support Groups

Our support groups offer a safe, supportive space for survivors to connect, heal, and find strength together.

Court Advocacy & Accompaniment

One-to-one, supportive assistance to the victims of violent crimes in hospitals and/or court settings.

Sexual Assault Response Team

Our SART advocates provide 24/7 on-call support, assist during forensic exams, and guide survivors through the medical and legal process.
